Theirs was a wedding 7 years, 8 months, and 28 days in the making. Matt was a football-loving, whimsical and wacky, farm boy from Minnesota who expresses affection with wrestling moves. Sheila's an exotic, retro-loving city girl with a penchant for the 80s. The secret to their long-lasting love and relationship—laughter. And when you see this fun and comical opening to their wedding movie, you'll laugh right along with them.
I took a chance with this opening and incorporated some elements that we typically NEVER do in a wedding movie. However, the way in which I did it here adds to the fun, so it works (at least I think it does. You be the judge). See if you can tell what I'm talking about. I'll give you a hint: what's one of the most cliched aspects of any wedding video? Well, that's what I did. It was risky. But that's what we're all about. Taking risks to make a unique movie.

What a gutsy move...and I think it was a well calculated risk...the result is fantastic! Now that's a real wedding! I'm sure the bride and groom will love it!

Hi Jen,
Thanks for the comment. I hope you're right. Matt and Sheila were such a fun and light-heared couple, it just felt right. The jury is still out. :-)

Hello Ron,
It's BRILLIANT and HILARIOUS! I have watched it a million times already ... are we really that goofy? I guess so huh .. cameras don't lie. I LOVE IT ... it is so like us to be talking about boob job and toilet seat on our wedding day. As you can see, we are perfectly matched. We try our best to take romance to the next level. Thanks again Ron and we can't wait to see the final product. Matt and Sheila
P.S ..i esp loved the crazy SF peeps' guest appearances.

Hi Matt and Sheila,
Yeah! That's awesome. I was hoping you'd like that. I got a sense you'd guys would dig it. That's what I like about you two. I knew I could push the envelope with your video and take it to a whole new level. The rest of the video is turning out great too. What's cool is there will still be just enough tender moments to keep it romantic, but not so much to put you to sleep. Stay tuned...
