Okay, I know last week I said that since this is the end of the year, I was going to do a series on "End Credits," and I promise, I will. But I just finished editing a ceremony I want to share with you. This is the ceremony from the high school sweethearts who had the ultimate fairytale wedding: seaside locale (Ritz Carlton Half Moon Bay no less); top notch event and floral designers (Ha Lé Events and Nancy Liu Chin Designs, respectively); photographer extraordinaire Lisa Leigh; and their videographer wasn't too shabby either. :-) Anyhoo, this is the ceremony chapter from their wedding movie. Since we shot super 8mm and 16mm for this wedding (see original post about them), I continued with that theme in this piece.
The groom is Persian, so even though they didn't have a traditional Persian wedding, they did have his father read from the Koran (which is what you hear at the beginning of the clip). They wrote their own vows, and I must say, for two young starry-eyed lovers, their words are very powerful and deep. Be forewarned, depending on your emotional stamina, box of Kleenex may be required. Enjoy!

Ron...
this is so absolutely beautiful!! I can tell that you took a ton of time really "coreographing" this piece with the music to make it totally unique to the couple. Great job!
