Well, our wacky and wild wedding season is about to hit full stride this coming weekend. Over the next three weeks we have three wonderful and amazing weddings that'll take us to both coasts. Are you ready?
First, this Saturday, April 21, we have another off the hook Ha Lé Events soirée at the Ritz Carlton Half Moon Bay. Taylor Nguyen (event coordinator extraordinaire) knows how to really throw a party. Every wedding we've done with her has been executed flawlessly and looks like something out of a fairytale. The lucky couple this time 'round is Van and Zachary. Also documenting memories that day will be the fun and exuberant photographer Michelle Walker. Michelle is a blast to work with. Easy going, funny, and she takes incredible images to boot. We're producing a same day edit of this wedding, so come back next week to check it out. You won't want to miss it!
Next up, on Friday, April 27 we're off to the Big Apple. That's right, New York, New York. The city that never sleeps. This will be our first NY wedding and I'm really looking forward to it. This is the wedding of Sylvia and Osomo, who found us by way of their photographer Gene Higa. Gene is "Da Man" and one of our frequent "partners in crime." We'll be working at the famed Stage 6 at Steiner Studios with event designer to the stars Abigail Kirsch. This is the largest film studio in New York (I heard Spider-Man was filmed there). While we're out there, we'll be shooting some footage for our online show "Bridal Bee TV" (still in production). From what I've heard, this wedding will be absolutely unforgettable. And, you're in luck! We're also shooting a same day edit for this wedding. So, check back shortly after the wedding to see what we've created. You know it's going to be cool!
Then, on Saturday, Cinco de Mayo (that's May 5 to those of you who forgot your high school Spanish), we're going to be closer to home. I'm shooting a wedding at the Sonoma Golf Club for Craig and Madeleine. They have a wonderful story of blending two families in a home filled with love. I'm going to doing something really special. Cay Lemon of Zest productions is the coordinator. This will be my first time working with Cay, and I'm know it will be a fabulous experience.
So, remember, check back the week of April 23 for the Ritz Carlton wedding and the week of May 1 for the NY wedding. You'll have to wait a tad longer before we have anything from the Sonoma wedding.
