Love is a Choice

Loveisachoice I was visiting Me Ra Koh's blog the other day and came across a post she made about a new website called "Love is a Choice." It will be a compilation of real stories from couples who've been married for a gajillion years and can offer encouraging advice for long-lasting marriages. One thing we try to do here with WeddingFlix is offer not only cool videos, but great tips and resources for engaged couples. This seems like a winner. Check it out.

"Sound" Marital Advice (Me2WeTV)

Russikeda One of our goals as stated in our mission statement is "to use our God-given talents to help bless families and strengthen marriages." In our effort to do just that, last year we founded Me2WeTV.com, a website containing educational and entertaining original programming (in "bite-sized" portions) to help couples make it from proposal to first anniversary.  On Me2WeTV.com we offer short video segments related to wedding planning and marital advice. We don't just want to help you get married, we want to help you stay married. In addition to original, fictional programs (like the mini sitcom "Great Expectations"), we also offer interviews with wedding and marital professionals offering their expertise to our viewers.

One segment we started on Me2WeTV is a Podcast called "Sound" Marital Advice. (Get it? Podcast? Sound? Pretty clever, huh? ;-)  One of our marital experts was marriage counselor Russ Ikeda, Ph.D. of Emeas Ministries of Silicon Valley.  In this short 2-minute+ podcast, Russ talks about the importance of repair work in a marriage. Download and listen to the mp3 file by clicking here.

Be sure to check back every "Matrimonial Tip Monday" to see, hear, and/or read tips and articles related to wedding planning or marital advice.
